소고기 지방과 코코아버터에 많은 이다. 다른 포화지방과 달리 혈중 나쁜 콜레스테롤을 잘 올리지 않는다는 연구가 여럿 있다.

넣는 양이 아주 적어 하루 지방 섭취량에는 의미 있는 영향이 없다.
