Palm oil
Definition
Oil pressed from the fruit of the oil palm. Cheap and resistant to oxidation, it is the vegetable oil used most in instant noodles, snacks, chocolate and frying.

About 50% saturated fat, similar to animal fat.
Watch out for
A label that says only vegetable oil can still be high in saturated fat. Check the saturated fat line.
